I never shared my favorite emoji art creation: Anne Geddes work.
I think it’s really funny that my emoji art texts got a lot of responses since they came out of me sitting in bed for 10 minutes, compulsively texting SO and hoping they wouldn’t too severely regret showing me how to use emoji last Sunday. Plus, I only just got over my instinctive revulsion to emoji* and emoticons and their ilk.A statement I made the other day seems especially pertinent:
“I don’t really know that much about anything. Really, I just know enough to make jokes about stuff. Or to bring up a study contradicting whatever someone said. That’s why most of my sentences begin obnoxiously with, ‘Well, actually…”
*I did always make an exception for SO’s emoji texts; they were funny enough for me to overcome my distaste
